Practitioner Profile
Ms. Nina Pan grew up in a traditional Chinese family in Shanghai, China. Her grandfather and uncle both practiced Chinese Medicine and introduced her to the ancient art of healing.
After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with an undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Ms. Pan worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she conducted research of human diseases at the cellular level. However she was not satisfied with just the understanding of diseases. What she really loved was interaction with people, problem solving and the desire to help people feel better. Eventually, family encouragement and personal interest led her down the path to Chinese Medicine.
After four years of post-graduate study at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, Ms. Pan received her MS degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002. Since then she had treated over 500 patients and provided over 5000 treatments. Some of the conditions she had treated with success include migraine headaches, pain related issues, gynecological conditions, digestive issues, sleep disorders, stress and depression.
Ms. Pan is nationally certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Pan is a member of AAOM (American Association of Oriental Medicine), and NJAOM (New Jersey Association of Oriental Medicine).
